Since 1987 I’ve prepared design, utility and trademark drawings for the patent community including such firms as Womble Carlyle, Sughrue Mion, Perkins Coie, Steptoe & Johnson, Morgan Lewis and Johnson & Johnson and smaller firms such as The HT Than Law Group, Saidman Design Law and Michael L. Leetzow, P.A. In addition to preparing and creating patent illustrations I have also provided technical illustration support to Booz•Allen, SAIC, ARC and others. When preparing drawings, I am comfortable working from a range of mediums from napkin sketches to 3D engineering drawings (file formats include but not limited to ai, STP, DXF, vector & raster pdf). If only a prototype is available, I can from photos to create your drawings. Drafts and final drawings are sent as a pdf and if security is a concern when corresponding via email, I’ll create a password protected file to send, or if you have a secure server, I can send the drawings via FTP.
