GRAMART was set up with the view of providing a platform to various handicrafts artists across the country and showcase their unique collection of products. The primary objective is to engage with the BoP segment (base of the pyramid)in order to bring them into a value chain system and provide them with an alternate source of livelihood. GRAMART aims to promote two major aspects : To promote and market linkage of Indian rural handcrafted products made by rural artisans to niche markets and catering to aspirations of new generation of lifestyle consumers. Provide training to artisans in preparing better quality handmade recycled paper and paper products and decor lifestyle products, using better techniques and equipment's.
