My Life Legacy

My Life is a charity that connects people with their communities. We work with funders, commissioners and people of all ages and abilities who need support to live a good life, including children, young people and adults with disabilities, people with ill health or age-related problems, and those who feel lonely or isolated. Here's how. My Life Support We listen to people with disabilities and health conditions who have a personal budget or direct payment, helping them to choose and manage care and support so they can focus on what’s important to them. Liaising with CCGs, the NHS and other organisations and funders, we plan tailor-made support, manage the budget, recruit and manage Personal Assistants and provide high quality, consistent CQC-registered care and support - resulting in long term cost savings for funders as well as remarkable outcomes for the people we serve. Changing Lives Through Horses We provide a bespoke, exciting equine curriculum for children and young people aged 5- 25 years who are struggling attending school at our State of the art Equestrian Centre on our 84 acres of green land in Standish. We offer an innovative and person-centred approach that enables and encourage young people to return to school. My Life Life Opportunities We offer meaningful person-centred activities for all ages and abilities at Standish and Leigh. From art, music and dance to horticulture, catering, woodwork, when we say that our activities are ‘person-centred’ we really mean it. My Life Works An innovative approach which enables individuals to discover their skills, gifts and talents and put them to practice in the community. From developing micro enterprises to engaging with partners to benefit from the gifts of our members.
