SO WHAT IS A LAYABOUT™? Whilst it might have the appearance of a beanbag that description couldn’t be further from the truth. Beanbags are traditionally filled with polystyrene beads which just disburse when sat upon. The layabout™ is filled with shredded high spec combustion modified foam with each chipping being many 10’s the size of a polystyrene bean, which means that when you sit on a layabout™ the whole thing doesn’t collapse under your weight leaving your backside touching the floor. The Layabout™ not only supports your weight but also moulds to your body shape and has just enough give to let you sink into satisfaction. Now we were aware that one size is definitely not going to be suit every ones needs so we got together at mylayabout.com and decided to tackle that issue and came up with 5 different sizes ranging from our junior model, the 2 foot “pip-squeak”, up to the behemoth that IS the 6 foot “MAC DADDY”. No one and not one situation is too big or small for us to aid you with in your ultimate comfort quest. All layabouts™ come in a wide range of fabrics including the robust 8 wale corduroy, silky suede-like moleskin, faux fur and our ever popular ponyskin which offers an array of furred animal covers.
