Precision Biometrics was founded in 1989 by former NASA researcher David Marcarian. While there, he was awarded a $450k grant from the National Institute of Health to develop the MyoVision and DynaROM technology which has since revolutionized the detection, care, and documentation of soft tissue injury through the power of objective physiologic data. In 1989, Mr. Marcarian founded Precision Biometrics, Inc. for the purpose of providing health care professionals with a high quality, low cost device for electrophysiological measurements. The company has provided health care professionals and researchers alike with Surface EMG equipment for the past 21 years.
