Mytochondria is an AgriTech and ClimateTech startup transforming African agriculture through smart soil technology. We build affordable IoT-enabled soil sensors that give farmers real-time insights into soil health measuring moisture, pH, temperature, and nutrient levels. Our solution uses AI to provide personalized recommendations that help farmers increase yields, conserve water, reduce costs, and build resilience to climate change. Our goal is to onboard one million farmers by 2026 and double that reach annually, improving soil health, climate resilience, and food security across Africa. Mytochondria’s mission aligns with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 9 (Industry & Innovation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). We’re not just building hardware we’re building hope for farmers, smarter decisions for Africa’s soil, and a sustainable future powered by technology that listens to the land.
