Nadi Law is a boutique litigation law firm specializing in Criminal Defence and Employment Law. We have two office locations, one in Whitby, ON and the other in Newmarket, ON. However, our office serves clients all across the GTA. Our Employment practice consists of serving the interests of our clients with respect to any type of employment legal issue. We are a firm that represents both businesses and employees alike. For our business clients, we advise regarding the preparation of any employment contracts, policy handbooks and/or human resource materials. We represent our clients in relation to issues with employees including termination and severance pay. We also defend our clients against any type of legal claims from litigious employees including legislative complaints (i.e. under the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Canada Labour Code etc.) and claims for wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal or breach of contract. Nadi Law also represents employees who require legal assistance in relation to issues with their employer. We review employment contracts, termination packages, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements. We negotiate with employers to obtain more lucrative termination packages, and are prepared to commence litigation to ensure our clients are properly compensated. Our office also has significant experience in criminal litigation defending our clients charged with any offence under the Criminal Code of Canada, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act or any related legislation. We are trial lawyers, and have defended charges such as Impaired/Over 80 (DUI's), Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, Fraud, Assault, Drug Trafficking etc. With respect to Administrative Law, we represent clients facing professional and academic misconduct hearings or licensing issues before their respective regulatory body or academic institution. We also appear before the human rights tribunal in relation to our employment practice.
