Nagalro is the professional association for Children's Guardians, Family Court Advisers and Independent Social Workers. Nagalro is a professional association for social work practitioners who work in the children and families field and represent children in public and private court proceedings. It has a reputation for excellence in the services it provides: its training, journal, and the influence of its campaigning and responses. Seen and Heard is Nagalro's quarterly journal which features articles by leading academics and practitioners in their fields; case law reviews from a panel of respected lawyers; analysis of important new legislation, policy announcements research and news. Nagalro organises two important conferences each year with prestigious speakers. In addition there are smaller training courses through the year giving unique training for independent social workers and family law practitioners including training to carry out age assessments and PAMS assessments.
