Nail Seal is a UK-based company that has developed patented technology for automatically filling the holes left by automatic nail and screw guns. Nail Seal has developed a robust fully functioning prototype and created significant patent protection for the technology. Currently there are no integrated automatically filling and finishing systems on the market, nor are there similar devices with Nail Seal functionality. The current method is to fill holes by hand and or using basic devices such as filler tape or crude fill and wipe devices. This solution will automate the process, reduce labour, and as a result reduce the overall cost of the filling task by up to 60%. It is Nail Seal’s primary business model to work with manufacturers of nail and screw guns, and associate consumable manufacturers, to bring the product to market in return for initial development funding and license revenue.
