Namaha in Sanskrit means “not me” or “it is not about me.” It reflects the notion that we are all a part of something greater. At Namaha Wellness we tap into this universal energy to treat your physical symptoms as well as your spirit. A treatment at Namaha Wellness creates a safe place to let go and to feel aligned. At Namaha Wellness we practice Kototama Inochi Medicine, a form of Traditional Japanese Meridian Therapy that is based on the Kototama Principle. Kototama Inochi Medicine utilizes a gentle Japanese style of acupuncture, that focuses on subtlety of technique and is virtually painless compared to most styles of acupuncture. Treatments include Kototama pulse diagnosis, traditional Japanese acupuncture, handwork (similar to shiatsu), moxibustion, diet therapy, herbal medicine, personal health management, and many other techniques employed in the practice of Oriental medicine. Our techniques are gentle and effective, allowing you to drop into a space of calm and equilibrium. The traditional Japanese approach to treatment is based primarily on pulse reading, which allows us to monitor the patient’s progress throughout the treatment process. As we balance the pulse with acupuncture and other healing modalities, the patient’s body is reminded of what it’s like to live from a place of homeostasis. This reorganizes the patient’s energetic resources so that they are able to take the best care of themselves. At Namaha Wellness we specialize in treating anxiety, depression, stress disorders, insomnia, headaches and migraines, women’s health and digestive disorders. However we are able to effectively treat most ailments.
