NAMDET was established in 2011 in response to the requests of professionals working in this specialty, who had identified the need for a nationally recognised organisation, operating as a centre of expertise and excellence. Our mission and vision through our 5 core objectives: 1. STATUS & STANDING Raise the status and standing of Medical Device Trainers and Educators 2. MUTUAL SUPPORT Provide a forum for mutual support and assistance between members 3. REPRESENT Represent the consensus views and opinions of members at regional and national level 4. INFORM & IMPROVE Inform and improve national policy and the regulatory landscape 5. CONTRIBUTE Contribute to reducing adverse medical device incidents
