Nancy Adler Photography

I specialize in portraits and events; my clients range from large law firms and financial service groups to individuals who want to update their photos on Facebook and Linkedin. I love hearing people say,"This is the best picture of me that I have ever seen." My other specialty is fitness photography. As a long time student of hatha yoga, I developed an interest in photographing not only the poses but also the spirit of the practice. This has extended to many other exercise forms. My work has been widely used by the JCC of Manhattan's Fitness Center to promote their programs. Underneath the business side of my photography is a passion for still life and nature. This includes light, water, clouds, trees, flowers, fire, food - and the suggestion of people interacting with them. My personal work is about memory and nostalgia. Most of what I end up photographing is in plain sight before I interact with it creatively.
