At nanoSkunkWorkX (nSWX), we believe frontier engineering should not be locked behind billion-dollar fabs or legacy hubs. Both founders were US-educated, built careers on Wall Street and at NASA, and returned to Malaysia to apply ourselves to global challenges. We work in ecosystems where moonshots are rarely imagined — yet we are proving that sovereign talent can build globally relevant, frontier-shifting hardware. Our inspiration is Skunk Works: not for machines of war, but as a touchstone for ambition and excellence. It reminds us that small, focused teams with the right leadership and guts can punch above their weight. We are building SUSANNE, an infra-light nanofab platform that turns commodity graphene into deployable devices. Its first outputs — the nSD family — open new price–performance categories across three domains: • Hydrogen (nSD-H): catalysts producing 4× output at 100× lower cost, eliminating PGMs. • Semiconductors (nSD-I): substrates outperforming copper in thermal and electrical conductivity, unlocking cooler, denser AI chips. • Diagnostics (nSD-α): PCR-grade accuracy in 5 minutes at $1/test, reshaping outbreak response and public health. Built on the SUSANNE platform, nSD-H advanced from TRL0→6 in just nine months, proving the velocity and disruptive potential of our device pipeline. SUSANNE itself is the core engine, matured over years, now enabling rapid spin-out of new nSD devices. Now we are expanding into TRL7 pilots, contract manufacturing, and joint ventures with partners ready to co-create new device categories and markets with us. We are engineers and builders. We bring conviction, urgency, and readiness. Our aim: to make Malaysia — and Asia — a force in frontier engineering, shaping global markets from the ground up.
