Rough materials, monochromatic palettes, asymmetric and bold cuts in Nasim Akhavan designs aim to show strength, femininity, confidence and sophistication. Founded in 2005, Nasim Akhavan’s designs aim to go beyond the east-west dichotomy of the past. Still inspired by both eastern and western cultures, her designs represent today’s and tomorrow’s world, namely a more than ever interconnected globe. Driven by her challenges and experiences, she wishes to be free from the constraints of norms, and through her novel design she desires to elevate elegance and poise and empower women to embrace their femininity and strength. Her designs signed with elegance, uniqueness, and love have since been recognized both domestically and internationally.
