Nasser Sharify Foundation

Founded in 2004, the Nasser Sharify Foundation strives to promote scholarship, education, and research in the fields of Information & Library Sciences, literary achievement in the Persian and English languages, and public awareness of multicultural issues. The Foundation was founded and named after Dr. Nasser Sharify, who continues to dedicate his life to scholarly and literary pursuits and to education on a global scale. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for formally educating thousands of students at the university level, and informally educating thousands more through his writing, lectures, and international travels and consultations. Those who are involved in running this foundation, do so because of their strong belief in Dr. Sharify's scholarly and literary works, his efforts in educating younger generations, and his life-long commitment to human development as the basis of all energy, of all strength, and of all progress, for all nations.
