Natems was established to bring together leading expertise in the sugar manufacturing process with global finance and management expertise to improve performance of underachieving sugar manufacturing assets in India whilst simultaneously generating a positive impact within the farming community. Our core aim is to improve farmer income and implement sustainable agricultural practices. We do this by: 1. Providing training on modern farming methods, 2. Provide access to low cost and low risk capital, 3. Help reduce risk of crop failure by using innovative technology. Our vision We envision a socially sustainable community and we are looking to implement a number of avenues to achieve this-Introducing farmer led business models and entrepreneurship opportunities with the focus of generating green jobs- Whilst simultaneously improving farm productivity- increasing farmer income- reducing the environmental impact with a specific focus on water conservation- all whilst improving the company’s performance. Partners As well as our own team of experts we are passionate about partnering with others. Subsequently we are working with a number of partners, uniting under the same set of values, each bringing their own expertise and perspectives. Farmers We are working closely with 19,800 farmers, and their communities, over a total of acres. Currently acres are available for cane. We operate two factories in Southern India- Unit 1: which is located in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh- Unit 2: Known as Trident sugars, and is based in the Sangareddy district in Telangana.
