The National Communication Authority is the government agency mandated to regulate and promote the Telecommunication and ICT sector of the Republic of South Sudan, established by The National Communication Act 2012. OUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Regulating and Licensing all telecommunications, broadcasting, postal and e-commerce services to ensure fair competition and quality service delivery among all operators. • Managing all South Sudan’s frequency spectrum, numbering systems and internet domain.ss. resources efficiently. • Consumer Protection through Safeguarding the rights of consumers, promoting digital literacy, enhancing cybersecurity and data protection. • Improving Innovation and Digital Economy through investment and entrepreneurship in the ICT and digital economy sectors across the country. • Collaborating with government institutions, regional and international partners to align with global ICT standards. • Capacity Building through Strengthening institutional and human capacity, ensuring effective regulation, enforcement, and service delivery. • Managing the Universal Service and Access Fund (USAF) to extend connectivity and support national ICT projects.
