Our Vision : All young people have access to the relationships, opportunities, and resources needed to learn, contribute and thrive in a dynamic, diverse, and interconnected world. Our Mission : To develop leaders and mobilize the education field to transform the experiences, outcomes, and life options for children and families who have been historically underserved by our institutions and systems. We work at the intersection of strategy, leadership development, and systems change to help education leaders navigate complexity, build adaptive capacity, and create learning environments where students experience meaningful work, authentic voice and choice, and deep belonging. Through liberatory design, we partner with leaders to surface and disrupt inequitable patterns while co-creating systems that center the humanity and potential of every learner. For over 30 years, the National Equity Project has advanced equity in education by developing leaders, healthy systems, and the capacity for transformative change. Today, we’re also tending to the education equity field itself by strengthening, connecting, and mobilizing the people and organizations shaping the future of public education.
