Plant-a-fruit is a social enterprise with a bias towards environment conservation and food security dealing in fruit trees and other companion plants. We deal in fruit seedlings both grafted and non-grafted that include apples, peaches, grapes, straw berry, avocado, mango, papaya among others. We offer services that include edible landscaping, grafting, training/consultancy, on-farm extension services and implementing CSR projects. We encourage practical, bottom-up, and participatory solutions to environmental issues. Our model is aimed at mitigating global warming (climatic changes) and directly increasing food security, a morally and economically okay initiative to undertake.We encourage climate smart strategies that offer climate resilience benefits of improved food security, soil quality, improved soil water retention, reduced erosion, and perennials that are better able to withstand climatic changes.
