Naval Service Training Command

Naval Service Training Command transforms volunteers into service professionals who embody the Navy’s core values and warrior ethos. Through disciplined training and education, NSTC forges civilians into Sailors and into Naval and Marine Corps Officers. This is the Foundry that strengthens the Fleet. NSTC ensures the Fleet is supplied with leaders ready to serve, strengthen, and fight on behalf of the Nation through Recruit Training Command, Officer Training Command Newport, and the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. NSTC also leads the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, a citizenship development program that empowers high school students to grow as leaders, embrace civic responsibility, and pursue excellence in life.
