Naz-Sect Publishing

Naz-Sect Publishing is an independent music licensing and publishing consultation company, based in Music City (Nashville, TN). We specialize in educating people on the business of Music Publishing and Licensing so that they can make consistent income from their works. We are no longer operating a public music publishing company or accepting demo submissions. We are working with a few writers exclusively, but have decided to focus on educating and providing consultation for those who may need it. Naz-Sect Publishing was founded in 2010, by Stanley Straughter. He is a music business grad and musician with a passion for music publishing and licensing. The company began as a moderately successful solo operation with a variety of music placements with major tv/cable networks, movie trailers/promos, consumer product brands, and more. We’ve also handled administration for writers signed to major song deals. Our most notable success to date includes earning a 2012 BMI Urban Music Award for achievement in the hit song “Good Feeling”, by Flo Rida (Certified U.S. Multiplatinum by the RIAA). As a musician himself, Stanley understands the tremendous creativity, talent and commitment it takes to produce a great song. He also understands the desire to earn a good living, doing what musicians do best, making music. Our goal, first and foremost, is to help independent musicians to thrive and succeed in the music industry.
