NBC5 is the Hearst Television owned NBC affiliate located in the picturesque Burlington, VT/Plattsburgh, NY market. NBC5 proudly delivers live, local, and late breaking news and weather coverage to viewers and users in Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire. Since its inception in 1954, our station has been committed to serving our region with quality local content, evolving over many decades to maintain it’s presence as the market’s most trusted source of information for our communities. As the power of our station grew, so did the breadth of our content. Today, we represent two broadcast affiliations – NBC and The CW Network (The Valley CW, WNNE). Our multi-media and omnipresence on all screens add to our reach throughout our region, with The Valley’s MeTV, the MyNBC5 mobile app, and Hearst’s Very Local streaming app. NBC5 is grounded in localism, with the powerful backing of Hearst Television, a global leading media company whose portfolio consists of 33 television stations and two radio stations, serving 39 states and reaching approximately 21 million US television households.
