Ncbc Uet Peshawar

National Centre for Big-Data and Cloud Computing (NCBC) at University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar was established in 2019. It is a Research and Development facility funded by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. In this brief period since its inauguration, NCBC UET Peshawar has provided research supervision guidance to numerous students leading to 8 successful PhDs and more than 40 Masters in the field of Big-Data and Cloud Computing. In addition to the research services provided to academia, NCBC Peshawar has successfully completed projects and documented partnerships with organizations like Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB), Agriculture Department (Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Forest Department (Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), National Incubation Centre Peshawar, Sarhad Small Industries Development Board and Pakistan Tobacco Company (PTC). Moreover, in order to make the access of local and international market convenient to affordable and latest technology, the team of NCBC Peshawar has developed software applications like Geofence Attendance and Geosurvey that are present at platforms like Google Play Store and Apple App store for public access.
