NeatMeatDC is the first and only food truck providing high quality Sloppy Joe sandwiches throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This is a story of two lawyers who turned into foodies. It started in 2007 at Howard University School of Law where Nnamdi Nwaneri and Na'Im Moses first met. The two became instant friends, and realized that although they both shared the dream of becoming lawyers, they also shared a dream of entrepreneurship. So with that in mind, Nnamdi shared with Na'Im a dream he had since college - opening a restaurant that served Sloppy Joe's and nothing else! Excited and charged off the prospect of what could be, the two embarked on the journey to bring a mobile food truck providing high quality Sloppy Joe sandwiches to customers throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area - along with a charming smile and a side of witty banter of course. Along this journey, the two sought out anyone who would listen or give feedback about the DC food truck scene. Soon enough, the two were connected with DC food truck dynamos, Chef Brian Arnoff, owner and chef of Capmac, and Chef Victoria Harris, the Social Media Ringmaster of the DMV Food Truck Association. With Brian heading up menu development, and Victoria taking the reins of social media and customer service, this team is sure to have the DC foodies excited about another dominating food truck presence in DC.
