Radio Nefzawa is an associative radio station that broadcasts its programs throughout the kebili region and its surroundings (Tozeur, Hama Gabes, Gafsa and Matmata.) Having obtained its official license in 2014, it has distinguished itself with a grid put at the service of the community, serving its mandate of local media by giving a voice for and about the local population, in particular young people. His professional commitment, evidenced by the various partnerships with organizations working for freedom of expression. In addition to its role as a catalyst in the region, Radio Nefzawa has positioned itself as a development pole for associative and regional media, providing its expertise and resources for local media in Tunisia. Among others, its contribution and its role within the Tunisian Union of Associative Media where the radio initiated and supported several areas of development, the last of which is the development of the charter of associative radio stations in Tunisia. Which was supported by UNESCO along with other partners. Appropriately, Located in Kebili, its proximity to geography is an additional factor that can ensure lasting engagement with the media in the regions targeted by the project, being accessible and offering several elements of affinity with those around it. Radio Nefzawa has experience in media development, having worked on areas of strategic thinking, funding policies, journalistic ethics, animation and local tools. These axes constitute priority fields of work for the media partners with the project. Its work with young people is carried out through several angles: a mandate that defines young people as the main targets, a schedule of dedicated programs, a diverse team and a close relationship. Its programs are based on an approach of inclusion and social development, an important aspect of the project.
