National Economic Social Advisor Council (NESAC) was established in 2012 to advise the Myanmar Government on the implementation of the Framework for Economic and Social Reform and support the formulation of the National Development Plan. Some of NESAC’s objectives can thus be summarised as follows: • To promote inclusive growth by working with the government, national civil society and development partners; • To promote and disseminate new policy and research to support and strengthen the national planning process. • To promote and disseminate new policy and research to support and strengthen the national planning process. • To engage with government, international donors and businesses to promote foreign investment.
