Neshama Hospice

Neshama Hospice will be Canada’s first residential hospice based on Jewish values for the benefit of all. Currently in our building phase, we will be located in a residential area at Bathurst and Wilson in North York. In addition to being a 10-room residential hospice, Neshama Hospice will be a centre of excellence and provide exceptional, family-centred and community-based end-of-life and palliative care including outreach, bereavement counselling for families, and wellness services. All services will focus on relief of suffering and improving the quality of life for persons who are living with a life-limiting illness. Neshama Hospice will also support inter-professional training and development to enhance palliative care system capacity, aligned with the provincial palliative and end of life strategy.
