Net Zero Vermont, Inc
About Net Zero Vermont Net Zero Vermont, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization established to help Vermonters create a shared vision for a sustainable future that provides vibrant, people-centered downtowns and transforms our transportation and energy systems to low carbon options. We design and develop special projects that advance the vision and mission of Net Zero Vermont. One initiative is Walk to Shop, encouraging more people to walk for purpose more often. We’re elevating the importance of public investments in active and shared mobility and the 15 minute neighborhood connecting residents to services. With key partners (ie, Vermont Clean Cities Coalition, AALV, NOTCH, VT Foodbank, CCRPC, and Go!VT) Walk to Shop is raising public awareness and making available a stylish shopping trolley. Target area is Burlington, Winooski, South Burlington, Williston, Richford. Sustainable Montpelier 2030 was the organization's first project.
