Neurospinology

NeuroSpinology concerns itself with the dynamic interface between spinal movement and nervous system function. The nervous system controls all functions of the body, collecting information from the senses and environment and distributing commands out to all parts of the body. The major conduit of information exchange is the spinal cord, as most incoming and outgoing nerve signals are carried through it. Spinal movement and the intrinsic relationship between adjacent spinal bones (vertebrae) are critical ingredients in determing how well the spinal cord is able to transmit this vast array of messages that ultimately determine how well we function, both physically and mentally. Changes in relationship and movement between vertebrae alters the environment of the spinal cord and spinal nerve roots, and interferes with the transmission of nerve signals between the brain and the rest of the body. Such interference changes the way our bodies work and reduces our ability to live and perform at our most effective levels. NeuroSpinology is designed to identify and assist with the correction of such situations.
