New Academia Publishing was born as an academic press, publishing books in the humanities. It now has two other imprints, Vellum and Scarith Books, publishing non-fiction such as international affairs, as well as fiction and memoirs. We offer our academic colleagues and other writers an efficient, expeditious, and cost-effective way of publishing their books. We have a distinguished Editorial Board that insures quality. We operate from headquarters in Washington, DC, and through our distributors we cover the global market. NAP books are listed in the major wholesalers catalogues, such as Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Bertrams, Blackwell's Library Services, Coutts, Dawson, Bowker's BooksinPrint and others. Moreover, NAP is on the Approval Plan for college and university libraries of YBP, one of the largest specialized wholesalers in the US. NAP books are carried by online retailers, such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Gardners Books, and others, and have been reviewed in scholarly journals and in CHOICE, the journal of the American Library Association. Two NAP books have won the CHOICE Outstanding Academic Title Award.
