New Beginning Therapy, PLLC incorporates evidence-based, trauma-informed clinical treatment, combined with spiritual, holistic and lived healing practices and experiences to help women Heal their Mind, Body & Souls, so that they too are able to break free from being codependent and trauma bonded to their Narc's endless cycle of emotional, mental, & physical abuse. As my favorite Clinical Social Worker in life once said,"One day, you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else's survival guide."~ Brené Brown As a former victim turned SurTHRIVOR of Narcissistic Abuse, I experienced this insidious, soul-sucking abuse for 3 decades of my life during childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. In 2012, while in the throws of my third Narcissistic Abusive male abuser, I purchased my practice's.com when the name came to me one night during a nightmare. At the time, I new private practice was my end game, however I had no idea what I was going to do with NBT or how many women I would reach, where MY STORY would become their INSPIRATION and SURVIVAL GUIDE! In August 2020, 4 abusers later, I became tired of suffering as a victim, and decided to take back control of my life. After being diagnosed with severe PTSD, and in the depths of my EMDR trauma healing journey, it became abundantly clear to me that all of my pain and suffering had a much bigger purpose, and what I was meant to do with NBT. As such, NBT was born in 2020 out of a personal mission and fierce determination to turn my personal lived experiences - all of my pain, suffering, self-discovery, clinical training, healing, & rebirth to my New Beginning, into an empowering, survival, & healing guide for other women.
