New City Cafe & Roastery

Welcome to New City Café & Roastery! Located in the Beechwood neighborhood of Rochester, we are here to serve. We roast quality coffee from around the world and partner with other local businesses to create a community gathering space unlike any other. Our mission to serve begins with our hiring practices. We employ teenagers and young adults from our neighborhood and give them an opportunity to discover and utilize their gifts as they serve our community. Our hands-on mentorship program gives them the skills needed to envision and pursue a successful future. Our mission then extends into everything we do, including roasting coffee. We source fairly traded, high quality coffee from exceptional farmers and roast it attentively to bring out each coffee’s inherent, delicious flavor. You can purchase bags of coffee at our café, from our online store, or wholesale for your business, office, or church. New City Café & Roastery is proudly a program of 441 Ministries Beechwood, a Christian non-profit organization whose mission is to partner with local churches and other like-minded organizations to bring hope, healing, and holistic development to the Beechwood neighborhood of Rochester, NY through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
