Rooted in the picturesque setting of the family small holding in Burley, The New Forest, New Forest Cider is a family enterprise with a history dating back to 1988. It was then that Barry and Sue Topp turned a resourceful idea – utilising the orchard's excess fruit – into reality. Barry's acquisition of an antique hydraulic press marked the beginning of their cider-making venture. The farm's former dairy now serves as a delightful farm shop, inviting customers to discover their range of products. Beyond the farm, Barry's unique thatched trailer became a familiar sight at events nationwide, showcasing their craft. Today, eldest son John leads production, building upon this legacy with an expanded portfolio of traditional ciders and juices, employing diverse methods to create a spectrum of styles. Sisters Sally and Mary are also vital to the business, contributing to product innovation and operational management.
