IMA Group: NEW Global School: With the vast experience in the field of education for the past 20 years, IMA Trust is launching its diversification towards providing the Global school Education for the young children to prepare them a highly talented and skill oriented professional student to compare with the International students community. The New Global School is established for achieving this goal. New Global school is not a mere school to offer the routine curriculum but it motivates, trains & qualifies the students in a real professional manner with the global standard. As there are mainly two global education providers namely International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE), New Global School offers both the curriculum as per the need and requirements of individual students. IMA (International Maritime Academy): IMA stands for International Maritime Academy established in the year 1993 which is at present stands as the world’s biggest marine college functioning at Chennai and offering various residential Degree, Diploma & Certificate courses to become a Marine Engineer, Naval Architect, Nautical Captain & Seamen. IMA follows the maritime curriculum as recommended by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), London. IMA is approved by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India; Accredited by the International Accreditation Organization (IAO), Houston, USA; Bench marked as Outstanding –Grade 1 institution by SMERA; ISO 9001:2008 certified by IRQS; Provisionally Accredited by Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), UK. More than IMA passed out students are working internationally in the reputed Shipping Companies as Captain, Nautical Officers, Marine Engineers and sailing all around the world. At present 1300 students are studying as Residential students.
