New Leaf Africa is a leading carbon-offset project developer for advancing access to water, improved health, education & agriculture in Sub-Saharan African communities. Our vision is to bring sustainable development solutions to African regions through carbon credit investments, while providing corporations with a quantifiable solution to offset their environmental impacts and promote social and environmental stewardship. PROJECT BLUE The Project Blue water filtration system eliminates the need for destructive, local deforestation because it filters water to safe, potable conditions without the need to boil. Our water filtration units require no energy or moving parts. A single filter lasts up to three years and removes harmful bacteria. Clean water is essential to a healthy life, yet ONE in NINE people globally do not have access to clean, potable water. FOUR out of TEN people in Sub-Saharan Africa lack access to clean drinking water. Distributing and implementing The Project Blue water filtration system to African communities will dramatically reduce the incidence of waterborne disease, death and illness, as well as minimize local deforestation and air pollution. As ambassadors to this planet, we need to preserve its resources and care for its people.
