New Leaf Learning

New Leaf Learning is a Registered charity (1202923) which supports primary aged children to engage in learning in Northants. We offer adventurous activities such as slackline, den-building and pond-dipping, as well as gardening, cooking and arts and crafts to support the key skills of TRYING, RESILIENCE, UNDERSTANDING and empathy, SELF_REGULATION and TEAMWORK. Where possible the learning takes place outdoors amongst the trees, near water, in the kitchen garden, with animals and in open parkland. We ask schools to part fund the groups, and invite businesses to support us financially, so that we can deliver to as many schools and families as we can. We take group referrals from schools, who transport and staff the groups. Staff attending also take part in CPD over 5 days in 5 weeks. Parents learn strategies to support a happy, healthy family. All activities are research based and evidence based.
