At New Pangea our mission is simple – give individuals and businesses the skills to navigate the modern world, to help build a better future. At its core, to teach VULNERBILITY IS STRENGTH. Born during a challenging night shift, whilst rowing the Atlantic Ocean in 2021, the company was founded on return to land by Jack and Rob. Their experience into their own mental and physical journey had changed them. The needle had moved. No longer simply content with ‘doing they had always done or expected’, their eyes were opened to possibility. The experience sparked a realisation and a passion to help others access the power they do not realise they possess, understand and tap into the potential not yet fulfilled, and empower and inspire others to achieve the extraordinary. Our mental and physical health is heading in one direction, yet as a collective we have the resource, the information, the power to change but we have forgotten our most basic instincts. Why? A simple but challenging question, that requires self-reflection. New Pangea’s aim is to break the mould, to alter perceptions, to ask the questions that need to be asked, to break stigmas, raise awareness, and instil the skills and confidence to both individuals and businesses to self-reflect and improve their own mental fitness and physical health. If we can remember how to better look after ourselves, we then have the energy and knowledge to help others. New Pangea wants to help others realise the same, granting them the ability to help themselves, their families, their friends, their business – and ultimately if everyone can harness this, the world. Aristotle once wrote “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”, we need to move away from isolation, independence, loneliness, and together find the New Pangea.
