New Traces is the sole trade business of photographer and heritage addict Estelle Slegers Helsen. As a photographer, she is always looking for the perfect light. As a cultural heritage specialist, she connects the past and the present, people and their places. Estelle initiates and runs her own projects, and joins competitions based on tenders to execute projects for charities, societies, museums and the government, on a local, regional, national and international level. For the arts, cultural and heritage projects - on the intersection between cultural heritage, nature, landscape, cultural entrepreneurship, and tourism - she is focused on concept, project development, productional items, storytelling, archival research and fieldwork. For local government and regional development projects, she is engaged in design thinking, connecting people, and project management. In the field of communication, she designs and maintains websites.
