NewByte Flight Dynamics provides flight simulation tools for the UAV industry. The company's software tools consist of an Aircraft Performance software and a Dynamic Flight Simulation. The first is being used to calculate point performance, plot energy graphs and perform integral mission calculation. The second is a real time simulation, capable of recreating the dynamic behavior of a flying aircraft responding to pilot's inputs and external disturbances. Some of the major Israeli UAV projects has been developed using hardware in the loop simulators, running our flight simulation engine (Watchkeeper, Hermes 450, Hermes 900). All of our software products have been tested against real life, flight test results. Among our customers are: Elbit Systems, Israeli Aircraft Industries, Israeli Military Industries, Aeronautics, Uvision, Simlat, Tiltan, UASTec and others. Based on this know-how, NewByte Flight Dynamics has developed miniature Inertial Measurement Unit (the miniAHRS) that is capable of providing accurate and reliable attitude measurements at a fraction of the price of competing products, using technologies developed for the smartphone market.
