Newchild

Newchild gallery was founded in 2020 in Antwerp, Belgium by Chandler Noah, Diego Castano and Sarah Vanwelden and serves as a physical and digital platform for both established and emerging artists by creating offbeat exhibitions, collaborating regularly with other galleries and working closely with institutions. Newchild seeks to cultivate and give a voice to artists who have developed a strong practice premised on conceptualism, strong narratives, and an ambitious technical approach. Additionally, Newchild aims to provide a context conducive to meaningful exchange and cross-pollination, and to this end fosters a collaborative environment for artists to explore outside their normal areas of expression. Newchild promotes the dialogue between fine art and design by urging artists and artisans to move outside their traditional areas of expression. In addition to an ambitious exhibition program, Newchild will be hosting a series of events and experiences in Antwerp and other art and design epicenters.
