Newcomen Consultancy is a jointly owned virtual co-operative business comprising ex-4ps sector & project directors and other senior managers with extensive local government, central government and private sector experience. Newcomen has been trading since 2004. The new business was formed in 2011 as a result of the restructuring of 4ps/Local Partnerships (Local Government Group). We specialise in public sector consultancy in particular project (procurement) and contract management solutions. Our team has a combined experience of delivering professional support as 4ps Sector & Project Directors of circa 25 years, covering all aspects of procurement and operational support and efficiencies to local public bodies. Much of the national procurement & contract management guidance in circulation including project and contract management, procurement packs, efficiency, and operations has either been developed by or in conjunction with members of our team. We aim to provide you with ‘central body’ expertise providing a high value, realistically charged service utilising our co-operative model. We want to add real value and we believe in talking straight.
