Newframes is a purposeful platform using the art of cinema to inspire critical conversations around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a strategic blend of cinematic storytelling and public engagement, fides brings together EU policymakers, NGOs, experts and businesses to explore, debate, and raise awareness of the pressing challenges faced in achieving sustainable development and democratic resilience. Newframes' approach extends beyond mere screenings; it curates a dialogue-centric experience through monthly film events, followed by expert-led discussions that address urgent societal topics. These monthly events build toward the larger vision of the fides film festival, a five-day festival planned for November 2025, that aims to become a beacon for socially engaged cinema and a platform for advocacy. Screenings and events take place strategically in the heart of Europe, Brussels.
