NewPace Ltd.(a medical device company incorporated in Israel) develops a portfolio of life saving devices intended for patients who are at risk of sudden cardiac arrest. These include a short term revolutionary belt shape Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD)- the DBelt, as well as a long term Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)- the ISSD which is totally subcutaneous with no leads within the heart, flexible and having wireless rechargeable battery and Bluetooth communication. Both device are connected and provide remote monitoring and telemetry capabilities (both devices are investigational devices and not yet approved for clinical use).
