Newtown Innovation Lab

The Newtown Innovation Labs has been designed to help students learn and create in different areas of technology, business and social humanitarian innovation. We are helping develop the minds and thoughts of the next generation by teaching them and hopefully by doing this they will be able to bring this knowledge into their careers and the future. This group of young innovators, age between 13-18 bring many new diverse thoughts and ideas to explore and develop. This promotes creative individual and group thinking, along with the confidence to not only bring new project ideas but to follow through with them. Inside Newtown school in Waterford this Innovation Lab is one of the first of its kind to be brought into a secondary level education establishment, with many new technologies being used and the students, as well as the teachers, are being introduced to all the latest technology there is to offer. The school was founded in 1798 and this is one of the first major technological advancements it has made. Our mission is to educate the aspiring youth on the ever-advancing world of technology
