At Next Draft, we’re focused on holistic mentoring. We work directly with universities to help graduate students think creatively about their futures and provide resources to help them get there. Our signature workshops help students:* Clarify personal values and career needs to identify potential career paths * Translate academic skills into industry language * Build effective professional networks Our 1:1 tailored mentor matching pairs each student with an industry mentor in their discipline who offers personalized guidance and support. PhD students leave our program feeling empowered to center their "must-haves" and "deal breakers" in their career development and job searching. Whether they pursue careers within or beyond the academy, each student we work with learns how to conduct a values-aligned job search and recognizes that their skills can open the door to multiple pathways to success.
