Founded in 2016 as an Architecture Studio, Next has evolved into a dynamic multidisciplinary firm, offering a comprehensive group of services to the property development industry. What began as a collaboration between close friends and colleagues—James Russwurm, Chris Atkins, and Tiago Vasconcelos—has thrived through our shared passion for excellence and innovation. Our journey began with a successful international architectural design competition, serving as the catalyst for establishing our studio. Fuelled by a desire for agency and autonomy, we set out to create a practice where we could exercise that shared passion toward our vision for impactful, sustainable, and beautiful spaces. NEXT Group has experienced steady growth, expanding our expertise and service offerings. With the integration of Martin Cloete, our capabilities have broadened, enriching processes and streamlining workflow. We now take greater custodianship of projects, achieving more cohesive and significant results.
