A curated online platform connecting artists (NFT creators), buyers, and sellers, delivering software for a community of artists, galleries, and collectors - a tool that is set to be one of the core pillars of the near-future art economy/industry. BIRTH is a marketplace built on the Ethereum network on the ERC-721 token standard. BIRTH tokens created on the platform are minted using the ERC-721 (non-fungible standard) and are secured by the BIRTH protocol. Both ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens are transacted on and secured by Ethereum blockchain. This is a proof-of-work (POW), and soon-to-be proof-of-stake (POS) blockchain that uses a decentralized network of nodes and miners to ensure transactions are secure. Smart-contract is a core technology of the platform as it is used to reward active users and for participating in the governance of the protocol.
