Because conventional rice farming produces massive amounts of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas that is contributing to climate change. In fact, beef is the only food responsible for higher global emissions. And we believe our planet deserves better. The GOOD NEWS? A solution exists! A sustainable way of farming rice that cuts methane emissions, saves water, and improves farmers’ livelihoods. And like millions of farmers and climate scientists from around the world, we believe it’s the future of rice. So where does NICE RICE come in? Our role is to build the demand for a better rice industry, because we believe that when enough people demand change, change will happen. So, our rice connects people looking for more sustainable ways to enjoy their food, with pioneering rice farmers who are leading change in the industry. By offering the more sustainable option without compromising on taste or convenience, we make it as easy as possible for people to be part of a positive change for our planet, one pack of rice at a time.
