Nicholas Lee is an architect of more than twenty years’ experience designing residential, retail and commercial architecture, from new build offices and art studios to the modernisation and renovation of listed buildings. Nicholas Lee Architects Ltd. was established in 2012 by Nicholas after 12 years as a founding partner of GLA. Previously he studied architecture at the London Metropolitan University, graduating with a distinction in 1991. He then worked for Richard Rogers under the team of Pierre Botschi and in the office of Norman Foster in Hong Kong on the new Chek Lap Kok Airport project, and on several projects based in Shanghai, Beijing and Bangkok. Formed by an invaluable team of architects & architectural assistants, Nicholas Lee Architects tailor their approach for every project to enable a perceptive understanding of each client’s requirements. Working through each design stage with a critical mind set the practice has a strong track record for developing high quality ideas to achieve planning permission and the successful management of a project through to completion.
