My professional life has been a long and winding road. Beginning in 1974, I have been an EDUCATOR, MASSAGE THERAPIST, EDUCATIONAL and TECHNOLOGY SALES LEADER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER & TRAINER. While still teaching, I had my first massage client in Jan 1982. My practice then known as The Human Touch, was focused on massage as relief from stress effects. My clients taught me lots about the healing process, my interest in a Wholisitic approach to life in general insisted my search for a more Wellness approach to massage. Over the years, I tried to work with the whole person, learning about clients’ over all health concerns, lifestyle issues, even spiritual interests. My approach gradually broadened to include a more wholistic approach, in formed by study with the Institute for Human Ecology, involvement with the Wholistic Education movement, and other workshops and training. In 1992, I retired fro teaching, but continued to focus on client education in my now full time massage Practice, now known as Well Being Massage Therapy. I added certification in Medical Massage Therapy, adding treatment of chronic conditions, injuries, and as an alternate to traditional pharmaceutical based treatment. More study lead me to a focus on supporting people in taking charge of their health and creating Wellness. Most recently, I have taken my personal experience on the road to Wellness and success with Shaklee’s nutrition based approach and begun educating clients about my experience and success in creating a healthier through use of Shaklee supplements and making these solutions available to my cli nuts. As I’ve turned 70 recently, I am looking to build my own Shaklee based business as an additional income, adding partners and guiding them in the business to create an additional income stream, and support them in making lifestyle changes in both the physical wellness and financial wellness arenas.
